The Christian Education Committee is searching for Sunday school teachers for the 2010-2011 school year.  We have openings in our elementary, middle school and high school classes.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact Cameron Womack.

New Bible Study starts in September!  We will take on Marcus Borg’s book, The Heart of Christianity.  Borg, a renowned Jesus scholar, shows us how we can live passionately as Christians in today’s world by practicing the timeless elements of the Christian faith.  The study will last 12 weeks.  You will have two opportunities to take advantage of this important biblical and theological study:  Monday evenings, 6:30 p.m.  – 8:00 p.m. beginning September 13; or Wednesday mornings 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., beginning September 15.  The cost of the book is $12.00.  It enhances the study but is not required.  Please sign up by contacting Cameron Womack or sign-up on the information table.  We need at least 5 participants in each class in order to offer the class.
